Loughton Voluntary Care is delighted to announce that Janet Thomas, our Coordinator since 2012, was awarded Loughton Town Council's Citizenship Award.   Janet Thomas received her award from Town Mayor Rose Brookes at Loughton’s  Annual Town Meeting on March 16 2022.

Janet has been volunteering for LVC for more than 30 years. 

 

Loughton Town Councillor Stephen Murray commented :

I have had the privilege of knowing Janet for all of her 30 years of voluntary service with Loughton Voluntary Care; a massive contribution and a richly deserved award. Loughton is so blessed to have had this association for 50 years working in Loughton , purely on a voluntary basis.

So many residents have been supported over the years.
